Research Chemicals Under Fire

2-CT-7, BZP, TFMPP Temporarily Scheduled

The Drug Enforcement Administration ruled on September 20th, 2002, to temporarily place the following chemicals into Schedule I on the Controlled Substances list:

  • 2,5-dimethoxy-4-(n)-propylthiophenethylamine (2-CT-7)
  • Benzylpiperazine (BZP)
  • trifluoromethylphenylpiperazine (TFMPP)
